Sauvage Cave

For this wild (it’s in the name), splendid and technical adventure, we’ll head to the Cavillore Plateau above the traditional village of Gourdon. After an hour and a half walk at the heart of this beautiful and well preserved plateau we’ll start by abseiling down the various pits that make up this cave. In each of them we’ll be surrounded by a unique underground landscape with splendid rock sculptures crafted by the elements over thousands of years. Using caving’ rope climbing techniques we’ll haul ourselves from the depth of the earth to exit the cave amazed by the scenery of the crazy world that lies right here, underneath our feet.
