Caving

Caving means exploring the hidden wonders of natural cave systems. Over millions of years, water slowly crafted a very large number of those systems, right here in the heart of the southern french Alps. They form incredible labyrinths with underground lakes, rivers, shafts, and vast rooms filled with stalactites and other speleothems.

The explorations can be horizontal (easy, like underground hiking) or vertical (more adventurous and using rope techniques), we offer various options to accommodate all!

Canyoning

Canyoning

Canyoning means following a river, that goes through a canyon. Along the way you’ll have to cross waterfalls either by jumping in the water, using them like a natural slide, or using ropes (rappelling).

We offer many different excursions adapted for a broad range of difficulties and adventure.

Canyoning is at the same time fun, athletic and technical. A voyage through an otherwise inaccessible area of natural water crafted wonders.

The guided tours include :

Individual equipment  caving suit, wetsuit, harness, helmet

Team equipment  ropes, bags, waterproof containers

Expert guiding  from a qualified professional

     Fun friendly atmosphere  as always

Caving and Canyoning Instructor, Hiking Guide

Born in the Alps, I’ve been an exploration aficionado for as long as I can remember. From the canyons of the Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean to Oman, from the Balearic Islands, to Corsica or the fantastic caves of the Alps and Pyrenees mountains ranges, the list goes on, and continues to grow. I finally decided to settle in the southern Alps. I wanted to share my passion for adventure and thus became a canyon and caving guide. It is with humor and pedagogy that I’ll bring you with me on a discovering journey through the most beautiful places our region has to offer above and below the ground!

Caving Instructor, Hiking Guide

Raised in the Alpes Maritimes, I was hooked on the adventure lifestyle from childhood doing long-distance treks every year with my family. I decided I wanted to share my experience and became a hiking guide, then a caving instructor. Now I guide people with passion through the rocks, forests and summits that made me the person I am today. I had the chance to study and live abroad for several years (Canada, NZ, USA, Scotland) so I speak fluent english. I’m also state certified for the archeological visit of the “Vallée des Merveilles”, a prehistoric engraving site at the heart of the Mercantour National Park.
